Our Wooden Orchid Baskets are designed to display a majority of orchid species. The Octagonal variety is 310mm in diameter, with openings on the sides of the basket to facilitate drainage and promote air circulation that orchid roots thrive on in their natural habitats.

Orchids will require watering once every 3-4 days in the first 2-3 months of planting to your wooden basket. At the end of this period the potting media will absorb water more efficiently, allowing for a strong root system. With a strong root system, orchids will bloom for longer. Popular growing media for orchids coconut husk, coir chips, sphagnum moss and charcoal. A thin liner of coconut fibre can also be placed within the basket.

Wooden Orchid Pots can be hung or used as table top décor.
