Flexible Floor bunding for spill control and containment is an ideal solution to create secure bunded areas for workshops, wash bays, liquid storage areas, in warehouses or around fuelling and parking areas. Flexible floor bunding can be used to contain spills or trap liquids to prevent pollution to surrounding lands or waterways.  The bunding can be reinforced with a rubber strip along the edges. This is helpful when there is high frequency of vehicle traffic because it holds the flexible floor bunding more firmly in place. Corner pieces are available to create custom shaped bunded areas.

Flexible floor bunding is manufactured from high-density memory foam encased in heavy-duty PVC.  The high-grade 900gsm PVC has very good chemical resistance.  It is installed with adhesive sealant to secure to the ground and create a bund so liquids can’t pass under it. The triangular wedge shaped profile collapses down as vehicles drive over it and springs back to shape. This allows for a steady pass for forklifts without compromising their load as they cross the bunding. This PVC drive over bunding is manufactured in a standard 75mm height which generates greater containment capacity in the case of smaller footprints.

We recommend the bunding be reinforced with a rubber strip along the edges. This is helpful when there is high frequency of vehicle traffic because it holds the Flexible Floor Bunding more firmly in place. Corner pieces are available to create custom shaped bunded areas. The ends of the join are left open so it can be overlapped and sealed to the straight pieces with adhesive sealant.
