What are Coir Logs ?

Coir Logs are a compressed coir fibre made from coconut fibre husk which is constructed into a log shape and held together with coir netting. Each log has 3 holes through them, where timber stakes can be used to secure the logs to the ground.  Aussie Environmental Coir Logs are an ideal form of erosion control, managing water flow velocities and sediment capture in V-drains & swales and stabilising banks & shorelines.  Coir rolls have the characteristic of being environmentally responsible and aesthetically pleasing. Aussie Environmental Coir Logs are an environmentally friendly alternative to hay bales. Hay bales not only break down quickly and are harder to manage, they are often contaminated with weed seed.
